Pica’s Story:

Pica is bonded with Sasha and we hope to get them adopted together! Pica and Sasha were brought to our partnering vet by their owner for euthanasia. Their owner saw no other option as no shelter would accept them and he could not take them where he was moving. Seemingly in great health, the hospital called us and asked if we could take them in. At 14 years old, Pica is the quiet older sister to playful Sasha. She may have a hard time hearing but that doesn’t stop her from staying close to the action. Sasha is potty trained, enjoys the company of other calm dogs and kids, is crate trained, and loves being by your side. Sasha has a mild heart murmur that currently does not require medication, she has some neck pain that anti inflammatories help, and she is in need of a dental cleaning that we will have done prior to adoption.
