Success Stories

Leo (aka Chai)

Chai was rescued off the euthanasia list at Riverside County Shelter thanks to the joint effort of multiple people! We stepped up to be his transport all the way to Northern California where his rescuer was waiting for him. Chai, now name Leo by his new mom, is happily living a spoiled life with a great family and a rescue sister!

Thank you to Olivers Dog Rescue for making this rescue possible

Bruce (Brew)

Brew was found by us as a stray on a busy highway in Rainbow Valley. He was found rummaging through trash for food, clearly underweight, but still so trusting! After a few months of love and care Brew blossomed into a healthy love bug who is now adored by his family who brought him a cake to his adoption day!

Thanks to Barks of Love for their work in helping find his home

Badger

Badger was rescued from the Devore Shelter along with three other victims of a servere hoarding case. Badger and his friends experienced trauma that took many months to overcome. Badger has since been adopted by his fosters but if you’re interested in his adorable friend, Squirrel, she is still available through Barks of Love.

Thank you to Barks of Love for making this rescue possible

Shaka

Shaka was an owner relinquish at our partnering vet who was in desperate need of emergency surgery to clear a blockage. His prognosis was slim but thankfully he survived his procedure and recovered wonderfully against all odds! He has since been adopted by a vet staff member and is enjoying the company of his doggy friends and the acres of land they get to run around on every day!

Thank you to Barks of Love for not hesitating to fund his surgery in his time of need!

Dottie

Dottie was found as a kitten trapped high up in a bush one late night. Her cries were heartbreaking. Thankfully we found her in time and healthy! After a vet check it didn’t take long for her to be adopted by the vet’s manager! She is happily living a spoiled life among many animal friends and adored heavily by her owners.
