Meet the Founder

Hello! My name is Victoria Monroy, and I’ve called Temecula home since 1999 when I moved here at the age of four. I graduated from UC San Diego in 2016 with a degree in Biology and have worked as a veterinary technician at a local animal hospital. From an early age, I knew I wanted to dedicate my life to helping animals, with veterinary school as my ultimate goal. However, life took me on a slightly different path.

In 2021, I launched my first business, Kompoocha Brewing LLC. What started as a humble farmers market kombucha booth grew into the first and only kombucha brewery and taproom in Riverside County, thanks to the support of my partner, friends, and the incredible Temecula community. With no outside investors—just a commitment to quality and community—the business has thrived and continues to grow into a unique community hub that welcomes all.

Now, I’m returning to my original passion: helping animals directly. With years of experience as a veterinary technician, rescue networker, and small business owner, I’m bringing my skills and dedication to building a nonprofit that makes a lasting impact for animals in need.
